The Proliferation of Two-Wheeled Vehicles in Asia and CyClean’s Role
In Korea, there are more four-wheeled vehicles than there are two-wheeled ones, and when I lived in the United States, I observed the same situation. What I did not know was that many parts of the world have more motorcycles and other two-wheeled vehicles than they had cars. Thankfully, the CyClean management team knew about this fact and has been working on entering the Asian market, which has seen a steady rise in the number of two-wheeled vehicles. Let’s take a look at the statistics and then discuss CyClean’s role.
Scooter sales in China, India, and ASEAN member countries have been consistently high. The transportation landscape of these nations keeps the demand for two-wheeled vehicles high – they are fuel efficient, relatively cheap, and easy to ride, especially through crowded zones. These factors render such countries a large market for motorcycles and scooters. High demand coupled with urbanization in these countries has increased the demand for two-wheeled vehicles, electric ones in particular. In India, for example, electricity is common and accessible, so wider adoption seems highly likely.
According to a study done by Pike Research, electric two-wheeled vehicles, which include electric scooters, motorcycles, and bicycles, are expected to sell in the number of more than 65 million in 2018. Total sales in the Asia Pacific region is expected to surpass 380 million in 2018.
The graphs indicate steady growth in the sales of electric two-wheeled vehicles in the Asia Pacific. The Chinese market is responsible for the bulk of all sales, but you can find that sales have been increasing in most, if not all, countries. CyClean has plans to enter this growing market.
CyClean’s roadmap makes it clear that the CyClean team was targeting the Asian market all along. In the third quarter of this year, CyClean is going to connect with big partners in preparation for its business expansion. Then, in the final quarter of this year, CyClean will get licensed to sell products in Vietnam and initiate networking efforts in China. In the first quarter of next year, CyClean will expand its platform to Southeast Asia.
Unlike other electric vehicle manufacturers, CyClean combines blockchain technology with ecofriendly vehicles to provide a double incentive for users in Asia. Users enjoy high quality electric vehicles to ride and they mine tokens as they travel. There is also the obvious environmental benefit of zero gas emissions with riding CyClean’s electric vehicles.
CyClean will continue to adhere to its responsibility to provide people with excellent products that reward users and save our planet. Thank you!
