CyClean Platform successfully holds "2018 Carbon Credit Integration with Blockchain Technology Green Innovation" forum at Jeju Island
Blockchain cryptocurrency platform that aims for Ecofriendly Green City “CyClean Platform” has co-held "2018 Carbon Credit Integration with Blockchain Technology Green Innovation" forum at Jeju Mejong Glad Hotel Crystal Hall, 2 p.m. today, with “Han Yang University Center for Climate Change Response”, “Climate Watch National People’s Headquarters”, Jeju government associates, related institutional departments, experts, and 200 general participants.
This forum was aimed to tackle increasing air pollution and greenhouse effect, and to promote low carbon green development, ecofriendly technology strategy, integration with carbon credit, and policy consulting. Professor Yeong Sik Choi from Han Yang University Center for Climate Change Response gave opening key note speech and Environment Safety Dean Kwang Kyu Kim gave speech about “Blockchain carbon credit trading system’s reaction and future with energy development”.
Also Team leader of Mirae Asset Management Myung Hyun Kim elaborated on “Promotion of blockchain based carbon credit trades”, Kwang Yeol Park the director of multination corporation Hewlett Packard on “Ecofriendly Technology strategy and data optimization for low carbon green development”, Operation Director of Sun Chyun Congress Yoo Heo on “Local currency adaptation for Sun Chyun city based on blockchain technology”, and found of CyClean Platform chairman Dae Young Kim on “CyClean Platform that aims for Ecofriendly Green City”.
Because "2018 Carbon Credit Integration with Blockchain Technology Green Innovation" forum was held at Jeju island that aims to become the blockchain hub of South Korea and is structuring several related policies, the governor of Jeju island Hee Ryong Won was supposed to participate for celebration speech. But because of public duty, governor Won was not able to participate and instead his related department heads participated to confirm the focused direction of Jeju island towards blockchain technology. Also CyClean and Han Yang University Center for Climate Change Response announced their partnership for “strategic partnership on Jeju Island for shared bicycles and CyClean Solar Panel business as well as carbon credit related ecofriendly businesses”.
