CyClean’s Strategic Planner, Joseph Nam, Speaks at The Wall Blockchain Conference

CyClean was honored to have participated in the 2018 The Wall Blockchain Networking Conference, a sub-event of the annual DMC Festival hosted by MBC. As a part of Digital Media City Festival, a major event that attracted around 500,000 visitors in 2016, The Wall Blockchain Networking Conference unites blockchain industry experts, politicians, celebrities, and others in the search for blockchain solutions. CyClean, recognized globally as a cryptocurrency paving the way for the green cryptocurrency revolution, was invited to participate on the day of the conference, September 6th. Our own strategic planner, Joseph Nam, attended to speak with other participants, sharing insights on the future of blockchain and promoting CyClean’s cause for a cleaner earth.

About The Wall Blockchain Networking Conference

The conference was a one-day gathering that kicked off early in the morning. Many topics were dealt with on that day. The first session was about the opportunities of blockchain, a time slot dedicated to running through the history of blockchain, its present status, and the future of this disruptive technology. Following the first session, participants were introduced to the legality of blockchain in a segment called “Global Blockchain Law and Regulation,” which is a subject we all should pay attention to. Afterwards, culture and media of blockchain was discussed, followed by a discussion on the differences between ICOs and IPOs. Recently, token economics has gained traction as a popular field of blockchain technology, and in the afternoon of this conference, participants shared their thoughts on blockchain tokenomics. Finally, the conference came to an end with a session called “Opportunities in the 4th Generation.”

CyClean’s Joseph Nam rubbed shoulders with other industry figures at this conference. Notable speakers at this event include Wooyeo Hwang, former Minister of Education of Korea, and Daeje Jin, president of the Korea Blockchain Association. Joseph sat amongst panel members Kim Jongseung of SKT’s blockchain unit team, Emily Kim of Hanwha Investment and Securities, and CEO Stewie Zhu of DCC, Seohee Son of Nice Semu, and Sophia Han of FansTime. Together, the individuals from an variety of backgrounds discussed blockchain platforms with the healthiest tokenomics and the significance of regulations on ICOs in Korea and the world. The collective sentiment was that blockchain and cryptocurrencies have immeasurable potential, and that the world needs regulation, not bans.

When Joseph spoke, he voiced the need for a linkage between the real economy and cryptocurrencies, introducing JPAY Platform and CyClean as a viable solution. He continued to speak for the future of blockchain, saying that blockchain is a critical part of the 4th Industrial Revolution. Joseph was featured in Seoul Economy TV in the link below. Let’s see what he has to say.

Joseph speaks at the 2:04 – 2:17 mark. He says, “We need regulations that will protect investors and projects. Investors shouldn’t feel anxious or scared about buying into a cryptocurrency project. They shouldn’t be worried if a certain project is a scam. We are hoping to see regulations be put into place soon, so that both ICO companies and investors are protected.”

You can say that again. CyClean stands by what Joseph said at the blockchain conference. People shouldn’t be afraid to participate in ICOs, and the only way we see that accomplished is when governments establish clear regulations that protect investors and projects alike. We are aware that we are still in the early stages, so we hope policies are put into place soon for the growth of blockchain communities and projects.

Thanks to The Wall Blockchain Networking Conference, many folks were able to have their suspicions about blockchain removed and to look forward to a future where blockchain makes their lives better. Joseph commented on the conference, saying that he would like to thank MBC for this opportunity to attend and to fellow panel members and speakers for preaching blockchain to the masses. He also said he learned a lot from experts in the industry by speaking to them in person.

CyClean is thankful for the opportunity to play a role in shaping the future of blockchain in Korea. We hope to attend more of these conferences in the future, to not only grow the CyClean platform, but to transform the lives of people through blockchain.
